What are the most common questions seniors ask you about their Apple devices?

Some of the common questions are about iCloud storage and device storage. Also, forgotten passwords. Sometimes it is a really easy answer, but you do not know where to look. I will explain it completely and can also send you helpful aids.

How would you simply answer those questions to help someone understand?

I will explain the difference between device storage, which comes on the phone when you buy it. Then there is iCloud storage, which when you set up your phone comes with 5 GB, and you can purchase more as you need it. The iCloud storage is for things you put on your phone and do not want to lose if you lost your phone, like photos, contacts, emails, and music. I see a lot of times that people have way too much storage and are paying extra, like if you need less than 50 GB, you will purchase 200 GB and be paying a couple more dollars a month. It might be a lot, but as seniors, we need to keep all we can.

I am a senior with 4 years experience working for Apple Support. I know from calls I had received the frustration of other seniors with some of their inquiries. I will never judge, be rude, or dismissive. I will always take the time to patiently explain everything as we go in language you can understand, not tech speak.
